Objective: The purpose of this study is to conduct a retrospec- tive analysis of the distribution of prosthetic dental treatment questions asked in the Dentistry Specialization Training Entrance Exam [Di ş Hekimliği Uzmanlık Sınavı (DUS)] according to topics and to present them to the eval- uation of candidates preparing for the exam, physicians, and academicians working on this subject. Material and Methods: In the study, questions re- lated to prosthetic dental treatment in the dentistry specialization exam held between 2012-2023 were analyzed. The questions were accessed from the Student Selection and Placement Centre [Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerle ştirme Merkezi (OSYM)] official website. The questions were evaluated under the headings of fixed prostheses, removable prostheses, total prostheses, implant- supported prostheses, occlusion, tooth morphology, temporomandibular joint, material information, maxillofacial prostheses, overdenture prostheses within the scope of the Dentistry National Core Education Program [Di ş Hekimliği Ulusal Çekirdek Eğitim Programı (DUÇEP)]. The distribution of the questions according to years was made, and the percentage rates of the subject headings within the total number of questions were determined. Using the “Machine Learning Estimates” and “ARIMA” methods, it was estimated how many questions could be asked from these subject headings in the coming years. Results: When the distribution of questions in DUS between 2012-2023 was examined according to their main headings, it was seen that the most questions were in the main heading of fixed prostheses (22.15%), followed by questions in removable partial prostheses (18.35%), occlusion (16.46%), knowledge of materials (13.29%) and total prostheses (10.13%). The least number of ques- tions was in the main headings of maxillofacial prostheses (1.27%) with two questions and overdenture prostheses (0.63) with one question. It was deter- mined that 101 of the 158 questions were at the 3 and 4 learning levels ac- cording to DUÇEP-2024. Conclusion: When the prosthetic dental treatment questions in the DUS clinical sciences test were evaluated within the scope of DUÇEP 2024, it was seen that the distribution of topics by year was not regu- lar and the questions were mostly asked from topics that students were expected to apply in the clinic (63.9%). It is thought that the retrospective evaluation will contribute to the studies of the candidates preparing for the exam.

Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmada, 2012-2023 yılları arasında yapılmış olan diş hekimliğinde uzmanlık sınavında yer alan protetik diş tedavisi ile ilgili sorular analiz edilmiştir. Sorulara Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerle ştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM) resmi internet sitesinden ulaşılmıştır. Sorular sabit protezler, ha- reketli protezler, total protezler, implant üstü protezler, oklüzyon, diş mor- folojisi, temporomandibular eklem, maddeler bilgisi, çene yüz protezleri, overdenture protezler üst başlıklarının altında Diş Hekimliği Ulusal Çekir- dek Eğitim Programı (DUÇEP) kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Soruların yıllara göre dağılımları yapılmış, konu başlıklarının toplam soru sayısı içe- risindeki yüzdelik oranları belirlenmiştir. “Tahminler makine öğrenmesi” ve “ARIMA” metotları kullanılarak gelecek yıllarda bu konu başlıklarından kaç soru çıkabileceği tahmininde bulunulmuştur. Bulgular: 2012-2023 yıl- ları arasında DUS’ta çıkmış sorulann ana başlıklarına göre dağılımları in- celendiğinde en fazla sabit protezler (%22,15) ana ba şlığında soruların çıktığı, bunu s ırasıyla hareketli bölüm protezler (%18,35), oklüzyon (%16,46), maddeler bilgisi (%13,29) ve total protezler (%10,13) sorular ı- nın takip etti ği görülmüştür. En az sorunun ise iki soru ile çene yüz pro- tezleri (%1,27) ve bir soru ile dişüstü protezler (%0,63) ana başlıklarından çıktığı görülmektedir. Toplam 158 sorunun 101 tanesinin DUÇEP-2024’e göre 3 ve 4 öğrenme düzeyinde olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: DUS klinik bi- limler testinde yer alan protetik di ş tedavisi soruları DUÇEP 2024 kapsa- mında de ğerlendirildiğinde y ıllara göre konu da ğılımlarının düzenli olmadığı ve soruların daha çok (%63,9) klinikte uygulanması beklenen ko- nulardan yöneltildiği görülmüştür. Yapılan retrospektif değerlendirmenin sınava hazırlanan adayların çalışmalarına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmek- tedir.
