Companies are aware that they cannot solve the problems of their current technologies. For this reason, companies have turned to industry 4.0. In this study, a survey consisting of 9 main criteria was conducted for experts working in the cotton manufacturing sector in Turkey. After testing the reliability of the survey data, they were evaluated using the intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS method. As a result, the readiness of cotton manufacturing firms in Turkey for the transition to the industry 4.0 model was examined, as well as the difficulties and deficiencies that firms will face during the transition to the model.
