Özet
Intravenous immunoglubuline has been used increasingly in the last ten years for the treatment of autoimmune and systemic inflammatory diseases. Available clinical and experimental evidence suggests, however, that a wide spectrum of immunemediated conditions could benefit from IvIg, including acute and chronic disease, autoimmune diseases mediated by pathogenic autoantibodies or by autoaggressive T cells, and inflammatory disorders associated, for example, with an imbalance in cytokine networks.
