Assoc. Prof. TEKİN ÖNAL

Tekin Önal graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of History in 2007, and in the same year, he started his master's degree at Gazi University Social Sciences Institute, Department of History of the Republic of Turkey. He completed his education here in 2010 with his thesis titled "Inönü Governments and Internal and Foreign Developments During the Period (1961-1965)". Önal, who continued his PhD education at the same university and in the same branch of science between 2010 and 2014, received the title of Doctor with the thesis titled "Kâmran İnan: His Life and Political Personality". Önal, who is an Associate Professor as of 2020, has been continuing his academic studies at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of History since 2011. Areas such as constitutional and democratic developments in Turkey, military interventions, foreign policy and historiography are among his fields of study.
