Proje Özeti
Municipalities and universities consist of an important share of energy consumption in the public sector with their massive campuses and services. Development of energy efficient technologies and increasing the share of RE production in their facilities, buildings and campuses bear a significant potential for a less energy intensive and a more decarbonized public sector and services in Turkey. On the other hand, increasing green energy investments in municipalities and universities will be a key facilitator for the public in general and also will enhance the visibility and awareness of RE and EE. Accordingly, the overall objective of the project is:
· To promote energy efficiency and renewable energy in line with the EU’s resource efficiency.
To achieve the overall objective and purposes of this contract, the project activities are designed under four main components:
· Component 1: Trainings and study visits for municipalities and universities on renewable energy and energy efficiency investments
· Component 2: Provision of site visits and studies for municipalities and universities on renewable energy and energy efficiency investments
· Component 3: Preparation of procurement documents for pilot projects and delivery of owner’s engineering services
