Biography
I was born in Konya in 1958. I graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1982. I completed my Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis specialist training at Ankara Numune Hospital and Atatürk Chest Diseases and Chest Surgery Training and Research Hospital in 1989. After working as an assistant professor at İnönü University Faculty of Medicine for one year, I worked as a visiting professor at Baylor College of Medicine the Methodist (Houston, Texas/USA) Hospital for one year in 1994. I received my associate professor title in 1995 and served as the Head of the Chest Diseases Department of İnönü University Faculty of Medicine until 2002. I received my professorship title in 2005. I have been working as the Head of the Pulmonary Diseases Department of Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine since 2013. I have been working at Ankara City Hospital (Bilkent) since 2019. |
