Asst. Prof. AYŞE UZUN

Biography

She was born in 1986 in Konya. In 2009, she graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Theology. After her graduation, she spent one academic year at the University of Jordan by benefiting from MEB scholarships abroad.  In 2013, she completed her master's degree in tafsir thesis titled "Muhammad 'Abid al-Jābirī's Tafsir and Interpretation Method" at Ondokuz Mayıs University Institute of Social Sciences. In 2011-2012, she worked as a research assistant in the Department of Tafsir at OMU Faculty of Theology. In 2019, she completed her doctoral thesis titled "The Relationship between Tafsir and Dictionary in the First Four Centuries of Hijri" at AYBÜ. Ayşe Uzun, who worked as a research assistant at AYBU Faculty of Theology between 2013-2020, has been working as a faculty member since 2020.
