Assoc. Prof. ZAHİDE EKİCİ TEKİN

Zahide EKİCİ TEKİN completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Denizli. She began her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1997, continued her studies at the Medical University of Vienna in Austria in 2001, and completed her degree in 2005. Between 2007 and 2011, she completed a paediatric residency at the Istanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital, which is managed by the Ministry of Health. She completed her compulsory service at Polatlı Duatepe State Hospital in Ankara from 2011 to 2012. From 2016 to 2019, she undertook subspecialty training in paediatric rheumatology at the Department of Paediatric Rheumatology within the Division of Paediatrics at Pamukkale University. From February 2020 to January 2023, she worked as a specialist in the Paediatric Rheumatology Clinic at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital Children’s Hospital. From 2023 to February 2025, she served as an Associate Professor. Since March 2025, he has conducted his academic career as a faculty member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine.
