Biography
Dr. Merve Çetinkaya completed her undergraduate studies at Ankara University. She then pursued her postgraduate education in the United Kingdom with the support of a scholarship from the Turkish Ministry of National Education. She obtained her master’s degree from King’s College London and her Ph.D. from University College London. During her doctoral studies, she conducted research as a visiting scholar at Yale University, and she has also taught and engaged in research at the University of East London and the University of Oxford. Dr. Çetinkaya continues her academic work through an interdisciplinary approach. Her research interests lie at the intersection of the social sciences and health studies.
